• If you can find the information an item contains on the web you don't need it  Examples: magazine, old text books, catalogs and articles
• If you are not sure if you should get rid of something, put an expiry date on it & get rid of it on that date.
• Make more room in your closets by clearing out all those old bridesmaid, prom and formal dresses.
• When in doubt-throw it out! Challenge yourself to throw out MORE than feels comfortable.
• Store items in clear containers to make things easier to find.
• Keep a box in the hall closet for items you don't need & donate when full.
• Schedule a time in your planner 4 times a year to drop off donations.
• Make sure every item in your house has a home.
• Keep a laundry bag by the washer for clothes that need to go to the dry cleaners.
• Purchase furniture with drawers and shelves whenever possible to make use of every space.
